The valves are frequently used for gas sample injection in applications where the medium is exposed to high temperatures.

Sulfinert version available: Reduces sulfur adsorption through the metal part of the valve body, suitable for the analysis of active sulfur compounds (such as hydrogen sulfide and thiols) in the ppb range.
