HVC Thruster valve will be launched into space with the Epsilon launch vehicle

22. Juni 2023

After a long and arduous qualification process, the small high-pressure thruster valves of the HVC series will be installed in the second stage of the RCS (Attitude Control System) of the Epsilon launch vehicle*.

The HVC series will be used on the next Epsilon launch vehicle and will be our first engine valve to be launched into space.

The HVC series is a stainless steel valve designed for satellite propulsion systems and, due to its non-sliding moving parts, is suitable not only for space applications but also for use in high pressure systems where particle generation is not desired.
